This is the section of the website dedicated to the class action law suit Cain v. MDOC, for which PLSM acted as counsel.  Here you will find various resources related to the case. 

Currently we have made available a list of our compliance case codes, a compliance complaint form, and an archive of Dear Cain Plaintiffs.  Click on the links below to view either of these.

• Compliance Case Codes - The Cain case settlements covered many issues and we use our own Case Codes to help us keep them organized.  When prisoners try to identify the their problems using these codes, we have an easier time answering questions they may have or helping them resolve their issues. 

• Cain Non-Compliance Complaint Form - We distribute this form to the prisoners in the MDOC to help them inform us when they believe there has been a violation of the Cain Settlements.

• Dear Cain Plaintiffs - A complete archive in HTML and PDF format.  The DCP is PLSM's mass letter to prisoners, keeping them up to date on progress made in the office. (updated 2/8/05)
