MICHIGAN COUNCIL ON CRIMINAL DELIQUENCY (MCCD)

MCCD is a non-profit corporation organized to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of human service systems as they relate to crime prevention and control efforts and to assure that citizens throughout Michigan have accurate and up-to-date information regarding these issues.

The Council provides public information; policy analysis, research and evaluation; information and referral service; technical assistance to state and local government, service providers and citizens groups regarding the criminal and juvenile justice system; coordinates and sponsors conferences and training programs; promotes public education on criminal justice issues; and provides expert testimony at public forums.
